"Cost keep up with care"?... meaning costs increase as care becomes "more sophisticated"??? Sounds backwards. Cell phones got more sophisticated and CHEAPER! TV's became more sophisticated and CHEAPER! Computers got more sophisticated and CHEAPER! Everything in a free market gets better and cheap. Why not health care? GOVERNMENT INTERVENTION. And I guarantee the day the government provides socialized cell phones you'll get crap phones and expensive plans. Period.

THE current bill is not the answer ,,,does not address proper Tort Reform, "undocumented" access for expensive non-life threatening HC , & does not provide MOST IMPORTANTLY an OPT OUT Provision for those that believe it is still too bloated with waste & inefficiencies resulting in inflated premiums not in keeping with services provided. ....A mandate stuffed inside a trojan horse bill for HC is a skunk in the road...too stupid to debate... REPEAL the BIll nobody ever wanted

Oh goodness how glad I am to live in the UK, with our Universal Health Care. We all pay in our taxes and we are all are covered. This is the cheapest and most efficient system there is. It is also, of course, the fairest and most civilised.

The rest of the story is: The senate decided to FORCE citizens to participate in an inefficient system which allowed illegals to use the same facilities, & they decided not to reform Tort Law & the costs were very high.. ..So the Forced people decided to get real real healthy by going to the doctors day & night every day, until there were no more doctors or time to treat the rest of the people, and nobody every got treated again until the mandate was lifted..THE END.... Kill the Bill..

Bloomberg Dec 8: "... the public option, which has drawn opposition from Democrats Ben Nelson of Nebraska, Blanche Lincoln of Arkansas and Mary Landrieu of Louisiana (HICK STATES WHERE THE GOOD SENATORS THINK THEY WON"T BE RE-ELECTED IF THEY SUPPORT THE BILL), as well as Connecticut Senator Joe Lierman, an independent..."

Call a Dr. and tell him you want to pay in cash! This really works if you have money and you are well known in your community. I have insurance and I am well known. I wanted to see what I could get a procedure taken care of for if I offered cash. For cash, out the door, the cost was half of what the fake insurance pumped it up to be. The guy in this video is polite! "Stay smart and stay healthy!" If you don't have $'s you better follow the advice. Insurance is an inflationary scam.

How convenient that in this $BILLION$ DOLLARS industry, the fact that the Insurers keep 30% profit from the top from all premiums collected ... is not even mentioned. I wonder why not !!!

When I want a factual and unbiased history of the oil industry, I watch a film by EXXON/MOBIL (standard oil) ahh, so neat and tidy, When I want a factual and unbiased history of the health care industry, I watch a film by ...HUMANA (health insurance conglomerate) such as this one! so informative!

Below is a list of the Democratic Senators that voted against the "Public Option" and the healthcare lobbying money that they received in 2008. My source is Open Secrets. Remember, this in ONLY 2008. Max Baucus: $1,991,965 Blanche Lincoln: $1,104,186 Kent Conrad: $951,328 Bill Nelson: $608,559 Tom Carper: $572,307 Vote these greedy fuckers out of office when their term is up! They are in bed with the lobbyists and don't give a shit about their constitutents.
